A Step into Science: Technology and Practice

The section focuses on:
  • engineering projects and prototypes for monitoring natural processes;
  • digital methods for analyzing geophysical and geoenvironmental data;
  • modeling of natural hazards and their impacts;
  • interdisciplinary student research projects.

By the start of the conference, a volume of abstracts will be published in the authors’ original wording. Selected papers, as determined by the Organizing Committee, will be published in the journal of IMGG FEB RAS “Geosystems of Transition Zones” (White List 2lvl; included in the official list of the Higher Attestation Commission).

Registration Fee

for conference participants
3,500 RUB
for PhD students and early-career researchers under 35
Payment is made upon registration .

The registration fee includes

Accommodation

Transportation
The Institute of Marine Geology and Geophysics can be reached by bus routes 10, 62, 71, 21. Bus stop — “Institute of Marine Geology and Geophysics” .

Conference Program
The program will be distributed to participants together with the Third Announcement and will also be published on the conference website.

Optional excursions will be organized for conference participants, including a city tour of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a visit to the Botanical Garden, and a geological field excursion. Detailed information regarding participation procedures and conditions for these activities will be provided in the Second Announcement.
